A Midwife to LCMS Missions in the Philadelphia Region

There are few things that compare with the miracle of birth - the pain and labor of the mother, the wonder of a new life, the pride of the parents. Helping the process along and sharing in the joy is the midwife. She doesn't conceive the child, give birth, or even participate in raising this new life. But she's there to help the mother and ensure a smooth birthing process. That's PLM - Philadelphia Lutheran Ministries, Inc. We don't conceive opportunities to proclaim the Gospel in the Greater Delaware Valley, give birth or serve as "parent". But we come alongside missionaries and missions alike and help the Lord give birth to His Church in this place. And what a joy to do so!
