Rev Robert Kieselowsky serves Philadelphia Lutheran Ministries (PLM) as Executive Director and pastor for Logos Lutheran. Pastor Kieselowsky is from Northeast Pennsylvania and earned a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Philadelphia College of Bible. He and his wife Allison grew to love Philadelphia while living in center city as newlyweds. In 2002, he moved to Washington D.C. to teach high school history for several years, while earning his Masters of Education from the University of Virginia. More recently, Rob graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, IN, with a Masters of Divinity in 2011. He served at Immanuel Lutheran Church and School (Alexandria, VA) as Assistant Pastor and Headmaster before accepting the call to Philadelphia. He has written for the Lutheran Witness, been interviewed on Issues Etc, and presented at Concordia Seminary. You can read about his journey to the Lutheran tradition in this Wittenberg Trail column. He also serves on the board of directors for the English District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
Pastor Kieselowsky and Allison reside in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia with their four daughters. While raising a family in the city can be challenging at times, they have found great joy in their community and the rich cultural heritage the city has to offer. Rob's interests include theology, history, following Philadelphia sports, and the great outdoors of Pennsylvania, the land of his youth. He can be contacted here.
